USS Maine Base Minutes for
May 30, 2011
At The Seadog Restaurant
The Base Commander opened the meeting at 1138: AM
Approximately 16 Members present
Invocation by the Chaplin Terry Schmidt
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag
And Tolling of the boats lost during April and May
The treasurer reported that there was a total of $2,314.75
In the bank.
There are two outstanding bills to be paid coming up approximately $700.00 or
$800.00 for insurance for the submarine and trailer.
There was a motion on the floor and it
was seconded
to pay Larry Ferrell the amount of $200.00 for maintenance and repair of
the tow vehicle. sustained over this past year of towing over State of
USSVI Service pins were presented to the following people
5 Year pin to Dan McGovern,
10 Year pin to Terry Schmidt and
10 Year pin to Doc Chapmen
The next meeting will be June 12, 2011 at 1PM
